Accused of trafficking contraband tobacco

Two Mississauga men have been charged with trafficking in contraband tobacco after OPP officers seized 200,000 illegal cigarettes.

Binh La, 50, and Quang Tran, 55, were arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with trafficking contraband tobacco. They were also charged under the Tobacco Tax Act with possession of unmarked cigarettes and possession of unmarked cigarettes for sale.
