The city and state of New York accused FedEx of refusing to turn over documents they say are crucial to supporting their claims that the courier is illegally shipping untaxed cigarettes from Native American reservations, according to a letter filed in court Thursday.
Krista Friedrich, an attorney for the city and state governments, requested a meeting in the letter to U.S. Magistrate Judge Kevin Fox to discuss what she said is FedEx’s “blanket refusal” to produce nationwide shipping records for shippers mentioned in a consolidated lawsuit,…
