A man who helped a gang smuggle 14 tonnes of tobacco worth £3.1m in evaded VAT and duty into the UK from Germany was jailed.
Emmanuel Cieply, of no fixed abode, rented three properties in Liverpool, Bradford, Leeds and Liverpool where 1,041 packages containing illegal tobacco was delivered between October 2014 and February 2016.
