Nearly 3,000 kilos of drugs seized in Taiwan last year
Taipei, April 3 (CNA) Taiwan’s customs officers seized 2,984 kilograms of illegal drugs in 2016, down 36.62 percent from the amount seized in 2015, according to a report released by the Customs Administration on Monday.

It seized 2.12 million counterfeit cigarette packs last year, down 21.9 percent from the previous year, and cracked 156 cases of alcohol counterfeiting, an increase of 47.17 percent year-on-year.
