A seventh-month long investigation led by the provincial government has resulted in the seizure of 870,000 contraband cigarettes from several Dartmouth storage units.
Service Nova Scotia’s compliance and special investigations unit, with help from Halifax Regional Police’s emergency response team and the RCMP’s federal and serious organized crime unit, searched three storage units on Tacoma Drive and Windmill Road on Tuesday.
