Good morning. Companies are embracing data analytics as an essential part of their business, but the architecture of those investments remains very much an open question.
Data warehousing and analytics remain the chief Big Data investment areas for 41 of the 100 CIOs surveyed by Barclays PLC. CIOs were less enthusiastic about Hadoop, the open source analytics framework designed to make large data sets more manageable.
