Senate panel to review regulatory ‘burdens’ on cybersecurity

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee today will consider industry perspectives on how burdensome, duplicative cybersecurity regulations are having a negative impact on securing IT systems and networks, as part of what Chairman Ron Johnson (R-WI) has described as an effort to focus policy discussions on security over regulatory compliance.
