Facebook Inc. (FB) today announced new details for its plan to remove terrorist content from the social media site in a blog post from Director of Global Policy Monika Bickert and Counterterrorism Policy Manager Brian Fishman, Reuters reported.
Along with Google’s (GOOGL) YouTube, Twitter (TWTR) and Microsoft (MSFT) , Facebook has joined a database that assigns digital fingerprints to militant content so partners can bar it from their own site.
