FedRAMP is pleased to announce the release of version 1.0 of the High Baseline Readiness Assessment Report (RAR) Template.
While reviewing recent Moderate RAR Template submissions, we identified and incorporated a number of instructions requiring clarification and areas where the PMO requires more information to make a FedRAMP Ready decision. This version of the High RAR Template also incorporates suggestions for improvement received from the 3PAO community.
In comparison to the Moderate RAR Template, this template places more emphasis on the use of automated mechanisms for control implementations and addresses the following items:
- The requirement to include all services in the authorization boundary
- The requirement for eAuth L-4
- High controls identified by CSPs as particularly challenging – either in terms of cost or technical complexity
High RAR Templates submitted to the FedRAMP PMO must use this new version of the template beginning today.
