It is almost incomprehensible how fast the Obama administration has moved to choke the life out of liberty in the name of government control. Now he has launched an aggressive plan to engage in “zoning” the oceans and Great Lakes, a plan he hopes to implement within the next 180 days.

In a White House memo released last week Obama said:

“This framework should be a comprehensive, integrated, ecosystem-based approach that addresses conservation, economic activity, user conflict, and sustainable use of ocean, coastal, and Great Lake resources consistent with international law…”

Sally Youzell of the nature conservancy apparently believes this is the first step to zoning the oceans:

“We have figured out how to balance residential, industrial and recreational uses on land, but today’s announcement supports a vision that we can figure out a way to accomplish this in the ocean as well,”
