OMB Publishes Final Guidance on Appointment of Federally Registered Lobbyists to Boards and Commissions
On October 5, 2011, the U.S. Office of Management and Budget published final guidance implementing President Obama's memorandum titled "Lobbyists on Agency Boards and Commissions,'' which directs agencies and departments in the Executive Branch not to appoint or re-appoint federally registered lobbyists to advisory committees and other boards and commissions.
