CRE Launches FACA Under Fire Website
The Center for Regulatory Effectiveness has a new website dedicated to providing news about and protecting the Federal Advisory Committee Act process. The FACA committees are so important to federal regulation that they have been called the Fifth Arm of the federal government. CRE's new site is intended to help ensure that the FACA committees continue to provide expert, balanced and independent advice to the agencies. The first postings on the site include excerpts from CRE's testimony to the FDA on how the Information Quality Act applies to the FACA committee process.
