“Hi. I’m calling about the competitive bidding on medical equipment. I don’t think it’s a good idea, I mean there is an old saying that says you get what you pay for. If you going to accept the lowest bid I sure you’re not going to get the quality that you would with some other competitor. The one I go to has been there for as many years as I can remember. Maybe 50 years and I would hate to see him go out of business because of this competitive bidding. Also with that kind of a service I might have to travel a great distance if some of them do go out of business. I don’t think that’s a good idea. I think the equipment will suffer. I think there will be accidents because of this. It should be really though over very, very carefully because there is a lot at stake. Thank you very much. Bye.”
