Here we go again!
When the decision to postpone competitive bidding was made, I had hoped the idea would be shelved altogether. I work for a small DME company in Cleveland, Ohio where we concentrate on giving affordable but quality care to our patients. One of the things that really bother me is that the patients will be the ones who suffer the most when they are forced to deal with companies that are not qualified to give them the care they need, and they won’t even realize it until it is too late! Please eliminate competitive bidding. I’m sure we can come up with a better idea that will benefit the patient, the small DME company and governmental health care!
