EPA Solicits Comment on Draft PM Assessment
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is seeking comment on the `Second External Review Draft Integrated Science Assessment for Particulate Matter'' (EPA/600/R-08/139B and EPA/600/R-08/139BA). This document was prepared by the National Center for Environmental Assessment as part of EPA's review of the national ambient air quality standards for particulate matter.

EPA is releasing this draft document to seek review by the Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee and by the public. EPA's Federal Register notice emphasizes that this draft document does not represent and should not be construed to represent any final EPA policy, viewpoint, or determination.

EPA requests that any comments be received by the Agency on or before September 30, 2009.
