The Mine Safety IPD is an Interactive Public Docket focused on discussing and advancing safety in underground coal mines.
The IPD includes Discussion Forums for federal regulatory and state regulatory issues as well as for safety technologies. The forums allow users to post and discuss comments and materials related to any relevant safety issue. All interested persons are welcome to participate.
The Mine Safety IPD is managed by the Center for Regulatory Effectiveness, a regulatory watchdog founded and managed by former regulatory officials of the White House Office of Management and Budget. CRE manages a number of websites dedicated to increasing the transparency of the federal regulatory process.
