Recently, the Village Voice and a number of environmental activist organizations, such as the Pesticide Action Network and the Environmental Working Group, have disseminated information on human volunteer studies to the public and politicians that is grossly inaccurate and biased by important omissions. Links to these examples of misinformation and evidence of their political consequences are provided below. Since the issue concerns the quality of data that federal agencies will be allowed to consider as the basis for regulations, CRE has attempted in the accompanying paper to provide accurate information and expose the misinformation.
