A number of readers have requested that we institute a forum where participants could make postings in a less formal mode. They also requested that the forum be opened up to non-regulatory topics.
In response to these requests, we have started the forum entitled "Members Sound Off".
It is a closed forum meaning that it is available for reading and posting by members only. We would, however, expect participants to abide by items 3, 4 and 5 in the "terms" toolbar.
The forum is closed because we have a very substantial--and influential--readership of government officials. We do not want to stray to far from our basic charter. It is for this reason we are making the forum closed but opening up its topics for discussion.
