KUWAIT CITY, March 11: Inspectors from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry foiled a major smuggling attempt and confiscated a shipment of counterfeit cigarettes estimated to be worth one million dollars, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Reliable sources in the ministry said the consignment belonged to two women – an Arab and an Iranian. Inspectors, in cooperation with securitymen, conducted a buy-bust operation and confiscated the cigarettes.
