They surprised him with a cargo of cigarettes. An undocumented alien who said his name is Ricauter Manuel Ricardo Mieles, 43 years old, was arrested at 8:30 pm Sunday in the main street of Veranillo, San Miguelito. His arrest came as police officers inspected a beige Nissan Bluebird with registration number 038744, and in the trunk they found four packages containing a total of 1,830 boxes of cigarettes and $657 in cash, so the suspect was arrested to be held for investigation.
In another case, the theft of a vehicle was reported when a black 1998 Honda Civic with registration 462329 belonging to Clemente Yañez Cruz, 31 years old, was stolen from his house number K-12 located located on Eighth Street in the neighborhood of Punta del Este.
In a third case, a criminal broke into house number 358 located in the neighborhood of Don Bosco in Juan Diaz, stealing a Vaio laptop valued at $600 dollars, a Lumix digital camera worth $179 dollars, and a gold bracelet. (Mi Diario)
